Swimwear Color Tips

A couple of weeks ago we gave you some detailed advice on how to choose your bikinis depending of your body shape. But another hugely important factor is your skin tone and what colors, among the hundreds of options, make you stand out and look smokin' hot! Here are our tips:

Skin Tone: pale or ivory skin with black or chestnut brown hair
Do: white, black
Don't: beige, orange, gold and pastels

Do: bold colors like turquoise, emerald greens, ruby reds and amethyst purples

Sumarie on The Wall Street Journal

Last week Sumarie's gorgeous Pantheon Swimsuit was featured in the "Big Small Talk" section of the Wall Street Journal. These are the words used to describe our SS14 Designer Swimwear Collection. 
"What does the Chrysler building have to do with a swimsuit? To London-based French designer Marie Su: structure and style. She uses a combination of textured body-shaping Lycra and 3-D cubes and takes the lines and a sense of space in architecture to create swimwear with an extra level of dimensionality."

This stunning promotional ad, featuring as model our creative director Marie Su (looking gorgeous, as always!), was exclusively displayed last September during London Fashion Week, where it made a great success. SUMARIE Social life: "Heaven and Hell" Charity Catwalk

The world of fashion wouldn't be the same without the glamour and excitement of catwalks! Last month some of the SS14 "Femme Fatale" Sumarie pieces were featured in the charity event 'Heaven and Hell' organized by one our stockists, Ayla Rose. 
Angels and devils, white petals and red roses: the setting was incredibly suggestive and our pieces looked just stunning!

Spring is slowly getting close and swimwear is finally taking over London's shops, including Sumarie SS14 and Classic Collection! Last week I paid a visit to two of our favourite stores: Dolci Follie in Notting Hill and Petits Bisous in South Kensigton, and I had the pleasure to find all the Sumarie pieces in the spotlight, beautifully hanged.

SS14: Off You Go!

Busy days at the Sumarie showroom! Our boss Marie and her team are working hard to give the final touches, pack and send the SS14 pieces to all Sumarie’s stockists. The season has officially started; we’re so thrilled to see Sumarie couture swimwear in the windows of so many great stores!

Last week I had the chance and privilege to assist and work with Marie on the SS14 High Summer Shoot. 
And here a few pictures of the day, I can't reveal it all or they wouldn't be any surprise !!
With Photographer Emma Sweeney, and her assistant Christo, model Hannah Levitt-Colings, Marie Su and myself we shot 12 pieces to be launch this week in a few stores in London (Petits Bisous, 187 Kings Road, Chelsea SW3 5EB) and in our showroom in Nothing Hill !! yeahhhhhh...

So do not fear anymore the cold, hight summer is On and Now!!
