Best Bikini Bodies of all time?

The phrase “bikini body” may not have been popularized until the early sixties, but by then, the reign of the modern beach babe was already well under way. Marilyn Monroe had been flashing her career-making curves in a two-piece swimsuit on the sand for nearly a decade, her healthy hourglass shape subconsciously setting the cultural bar for true surf-and-sun sensuality. She joins a legacy of actresses and models who, through a combination of hard work and good genes, have cemented their place in history as present-day Venuses. They’re the aspirational figures we have in mind as we coax ourselves to the gym, spring for a Lisa Marie Fernandez micro-bikini, or preen for a far-flung summer excursion. From the athletic, mile-long limbs of Veruschka and Karlie Kloss, to the buxom shapes of Ursula Andress and Kate Upton, and sculptural frames of Naomi Campbell and Adriana Lima, here is a look at the best bodies to ever set foot on the beach.

The Benefits of Yoga

Not all women need (or want!) to count calories and go running every other day to burn each and every inch of extra-fat on their hips. Nonetheless, it’s important to remember that -unfortunately- in this life we’re given only one body and it needs to be looked after in order to live a healthy and happy life. Practicing yoga is a great way to do that for a long series of reasons! To give you an idea, here are some of them.

1. Your posture improves substantially (which is good for your well-being, confidence and looks!)
2. You get a much better night's sleep.
3. Stress fades away. At the beginning only during your yoga class, but after a bit of practice also in your daily life.
4. Yoga builds and tones lean muscles that shape a super-sexy silhouette.
5. The effort that you put into meditation returns in the form of better memory and concentration.
6. Yoga is a great cardio workout: if practiced regularly, the constant and well balanced physical activity helps maintaining your target weight.
7. Those who practice yoga state that once you’re into it you’ll be very motivated to live a healthier lifestyle in general (better food, fewer cigarettes…)
8.  Goodbye back pain.
9. You can practice it almost everywhere.
10. You get a firm, round bootie, tight abs, and gorgeous legs.

What else do you need? :)

Happy St. Valentine’s day!

Whether you have a partner or not, St. Valentine’s day is a great excuse to treat yourself and get all the love you deserve. And who cares if you don’t have a romantic dinner planned for Friday night? Here’s an alternative plan that works really well with or without a partner.

1. Book a SPA Treatment
Rain, work, underground strike… These past two weeks have been more stressful than usual, it’s time to break away for a few hours for some well-deserved relaxation. We recommend the Aman Spa at the Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, the ambience is heavenly and the treatments are sublime. After your massage, enjoy a nap in the hot towels and a swim in the nicest swimming pool in London, it is simply perfect!

2. Refresh your look
Sometimes getting your hair and manicure done is all it takes to significantly boost your self-esteem. Take your time, have a chat with your coiffeur, catch up with all the fashion magazines you haven’t had the chance to read in the past month.

3. Ethnic night out
There’s no way you’re going to waste your new haircut in a PJ&TV night. Call your girlfriends, put on your little black dress and head downtown for a nice dinner. Time Out has rated the Peruvian restaurant ‘Cheviche’ as one of the best cocktail bars in London. The national drink ‘Pisco’ is supposed to be amazing and the food looks just as yummy!

Cameron's 'Body Book' to live healthily

"One of my proudest moments! Receiving the first bound copy of The Body Book!! @thebodybook LADIES!! I wrote this book for YOU and YOUR BODY.. And I'm so excited to share it with you!!"

This is the caption that accompanied the stunning make-up free picture that 41-year-old actress Cameron Diaz published on Instagram as she received a bound copy of her first book.

"The Body Book" is an empowering handbook aimed at teaching women -- and young girls in particular -- how to live happier, healthier and stronger lives by focusing on being healthy instead of being thin.

Cameron has been a role model throughout her long career and she is now sharing her knowledge and values on living well, the same values Sumarie believes in.
